Theodore Peter James Kinnaird Taptiklis, popularly known as Theo James is a handsome young actor. The English actor is known for his portrayals of Jed Harper in the film Bedlam, Tobias ‘Four’ Eaton in the science fiction novel Divergent and as Walter William Clark Jr. in the Golden Boy series. He has been nominated five times for his performance in 2014 and 2015 for the work in the Divergent series, among which he has won two of the awards.
He received a Teen Choice Movie Actor: Action in 2014. And the same year, he shared the People’s Choice Awards for Favorite Movie Duo with Shailene Woodley. Theo James was born Theodore Peter James Kinnaird Taptikis on December 16, 1984 , in Oxfordshire, England . He was born to father Philip Taptiklis and mother Jane Martin . He is of minor Greek ancestry with a mixture of English and Scottish. He has four brothers; two sisters and two brothers and he is the youngest of his parents’ five children.
He had attended Aylesbury Grammar School and obtained his BA in philosophy from the University of Nottingham. After completing his degree, he decided to join acting classes and attend Bristol Old Vic Theater School to improve his acting skills.

Before becoming involved with the acting fraternity, James worked at the National Health Service in England, where he used to go to the homes of the recently deceased and clean up any remaining bodily fluids. He also worked as a bartender.
