It is quite unfortunate, but it is the truth that the Universe will not bless you for being good.

I saw a Lady at the bank today with a very young child crying and wailing very loud despite the number of crowd watching.

The lady would be probably in her mid or late twenties, The way she broke down at the bank broke my heart, but there was nothing could I do, so I left the scene as quickly as possible.

As I walked away I began to wonder what might be the reason for her wailing and crying out so loud despite being in a public place.

Did she lose anyone dear to her? I thought, NO she would have left the bank premises if such a thing happened.

Or was something wrong with her baby? I had looked at the baby closely before I left and he was alright.

Then it came to me that the only thing that could warrant such a terrible outcry in a bank premise is most likely when you lose your money.

Then I concluded that the lady must have been ripped off all life savings by fraudsters then she probably came to the bank hoping something could be done to reverse the misfortune but they broke it to her that her money is gone and was gone for good.

I thought of taking to my WhatsApp status to narrate the horrible experience to friends on my contact list and also use the same opportunity to warn fraudsters to desist from such acts or else karma will catch up on them.

But I did not, because I know karma will not catch up on them if karma exists at all and because I might offend a lot of friends.

As I walked by the roadside I thought about the fraudsters who might be responsible for the woman’s misfortune, they are most likely poor, hungry, and frustrated.

I thought about how they must have tried out different things to make money legally before going full time into fraud as there are no other promising means to make money.

I concluded that they are just victims of  their environment and circumstances,

I wondered if they would go free without any form of consequence.

I wondered if karma might catch up on  their children or grandchildren for causing this woman such pain

I kept wondering if the lady is experiencing this misfortune due to something she has done in the past or something her parents or grandparents have done in the past.

I could not really point what the aftermath of the event would be but the two things I learned is that

1.The universe will not bless you for being good

2. we are still living in a survival of the fittest world.
