Recall that in August 2020. The Oba of Benin, Ewuare II, and his fifth and youngest wife, Queen Aisosa, welcomed a set of quadruplets, three boys and a girl.
Frank Irabor, the Secretary of the Benin Traditional Council, who broke the news then described the birth of the babies as an “unprecedented and historical event” in the Benin Royal family.

“The palace of the Oba of Benin is delighted to announce that her royal highness, Queen Aisosa Ewuare of Benin Kingdom, has delivered a set of Quadruplets (3 boys and a girl). Yes Quadruplets,” he said then.
The royal ceremony which was witnessed by dignitaries from all walks of life began at the presidential office of the palace with a formal presentation of the babies to entire royal family members, chiefs and top palace functionaries by the Oba.
Different palace guilds, including Emelhe, Isikhuan groups (royal praise singers), including chiefs of different grades offered prayers and songs of prosperity to the royal family.
Omo N’Oba Ewuare thereafter proceeded to the Ugha-Eroba axis (ancestral ceremonial hall) of the palace where prayers of protection, guidance and prosperity were made for the three infant princes and a princess at the ancient altar of their forebear.
Shortly after the prayers in line with the palace tradition, Oba Ewuare gave the names Odoligie, Utomwen Azaka, Amadin and Iriagbonse to his new babies, which were announced by Chief Letema, who acted in the absence of the Head of Ihogbe group, Chief Ihama.
