Popular Instagram comedian and Nollywood actor, Debo Adebayo popularly known as Mr. Macaronii stated that the Nigerian government has failed woefully in protecting the lives of its people.

Mr. Macaronni must have said this due to the rising state of insecurity in the country, in different parts of the country.

The Internet sensation made the declaration via a tweet on Monday, he stated that the Nigerian Government is so irresponsible that it uses the same police responsible for the safety of the citizens to press the citizens.

He furthered declared the Nation does not have any leaders but tyrants running the affairs of the government.

His words: The Nigerian Government has failed woefully in protecting the lives of the people. As irresponsible as they are, they use the Same Police responsible for the safety of Nigerians to oppress Nigerians. We don’t have Leaders. We have Tyrants in government!!!

In reactions to the post different tweeps took the comment section to praise the Nollywood star for using his platform, to speak against the injustice and incompetence that runs the country.

They also used the same medium to call out other celebrities, urging them to use their platform to raise awareness concerning the state of insecurity bewildering of the country.

Similarly, Nigerian Iconic Nollywood star Rita Dominic has stated that Nigerians and its leaders are watching the country slip into Anarchy.

In recent times there has been an increase in the rate of insecurity and unrest in the country. communal clashes, Banditry kidnapping, and terrorism have become the order of the day in different parts of the country.

In a Twitter post on Monday, the 45-year-old movie star said elected officials must do more to address the worsening state of insecurity in the country before they get out of hand.

According to her, there must be concerted efforts by the government to douse the rising tension in the country for peace to reign.

Dominic said the “harassment and killing of innocent citizens” cannot address the challenges confronting the country.

“I am afraid that we are watching Nigeria slip into anarchy. It is surreal. Our elected officials need to work harder to douse the tension in the country. We need peace to reign. Harassing and killing innocent citizens can never solve anything,” she wrote.
