The Nigeria Police Force May Never Get Better – FunnyBone

Nigerian Comedian, Stanley Chibuna, popularly known as Funnybone has stated that the Nigeria Police Force may never get better if the Nigerian government refuses to do what is necessary.

The comedian stated that graduates roaming about looking for jobs don’t see the police force as a job worth applying for because of the bad living condition of a police officer hence until things are taken care of and graduates apply, it might never get better.

He also compared the living conditions of a police officer and other security personnel asking whether they expect a police officer whose environment is appalling and salary is nothing good to write home about to come out and protect lives and properties.

He wrote: until our young Nigerians graduates roaming the streets jobless begin to see our police force as a job worth applying for just like the Nigerian customs. I fear it might never get better. 

As a kid back then growing up back in the north (Kaduna) I remember my friend graduated from the Nigeria Military School (NMS) Zaria. Secondary School. His entire family did an almanac to celebrate his graduation, with a huge party to follow. 

The military is revered but police Naaaa. Have seen Police recruits before? Have you visited any college before?? Sorry to say but no good can come outta that space. No sane person can survive in those slumps.

You pay a family man with 6 kids 45K abi 70K a month with a rifle AK47 and you expect him to be sane? yet you want to him to protect lives and properties? He will clearly misuse the gun. 

But a young Cadet freshly outta Nigerian defense academy (NDA), earn times 2 with a secured future assured. 

Let not even discuss customs, Navy, or the airforce. they are better paid for years they cant dislodge and defeat Boko haram O

Pay our police well Reform the entire Force. Job-seeking graduates with the right motivation should enroll. Do it and see crime diminish in this country.
