Kaduna state governor, Nasir El-Rufai has stated categorically that bandits and terrorists tormenting the country have all lost their right to life and must be wiped out.
Kaduna state governor, Nasir El-Rufai has stated categorically that bandits and terrorists tormenting the country have all lost their right to life and must be wiped out.
He made the statement while speaking at a town hall meeting on national security hosted by the Ministry of Information and Culture in Kaduna with the theme “Setting benchmarks for enhanced security and national unity in Nigeria”.
According to the governor, the current security situation in the country calls for national consensus as Nigeria is at war.
The Governor also joined the call for the decentralisation of the police, saying that the time has come for state police.
Moreso, he pushed for the decentralisation of management and ownership of mineral resources.
He stressed it is time for a restructuring of the country.

However, on the judiciary level, he stressed that bandits now prefer been taken to court as the long duration of prosecution encourages the current terrible security situation.
