Terrell Owens is an American football wide receiver who played for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League. He was born on December 7, 1973 in Alexander City, Alabama. His parents are Marilyn Heard and LC Russell. When he was a child, his parents separated and he moved in with his mother and his grandmother. He grew up with his three brothers. Even at a young age, he loved to watch and play soccer.

In 1993, Owens was selected at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where the convenient 6’3′ wide receiver set some school records and earned first-team All-Southern Conference honors. In the 1996 NFL draft, the San Francisco 49ers took Owens in the third round. During his eight years in San Francisco, Owens became one of the most feared wide receivers in the league after catching 35 balls in his first season. Owens made relentless strides over the next few years. In 2002, he hauled in 100 receptions and recorded over 1,300 receiving yards.

After a few tumultuous seasons in San Francisco, he signed as an unlimited free agent with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2004. His second season in Philadelphia, in any case, was less smooth. Concerned by his deal and in rebuke of the group’s quarterback, Donovan McNabb, he was fired by the club. After playing for the Buffalo Bills in 2009, Owens signed with the Cincinnati Bengals for the 2010 season. While there, Owens became the subject of his own reality television show on VH1, called The TO show. The show continued to run for three seasons.

Owens joined the Allen Wranglers of the Indoor Football League in mid-2012, confident that a solid run would be considered by NFL professors. He signed a one-year deal with the Seattle Seahawks in late spring, however he was released before the start of the 2012 NFL season. A six-time Pro Bowl selection, he ranked second all-time in receiving touchdowns and accepting yards at the time of his last game.

Talking about his personal life, Owens is a proud father of four children. However, he was recently taken to court for failing to pay child support. He was sued by his ex-wife Melanie Paige Smith III. Later, he appeared on Dr. Phil with the mothers of his children, he claimed that he had lost all his money and that he could not give his children any kind of budgetary help. He remarried Rachel Snider, but only two weeks into her marriage, Rachel revealed to the media that she wants to divorce Terrell for personal reasons.

Although there were many ups and downs in his professional and personal life, he will always be one of the most talented soccer players. According to some sources, his net worth is next to nothing now as he struggles a lot for money. It is estimated that during his time in the NFL he used to earn a huge salary and had a net worth of around $70 million. For more information about him including his clubs, stats and career, the details are provided in his bio.
