Teresa Terry is known as the ex-wife of a Georgian businessman, producer and actor. Michael Todd Chrisley. Her ex-husband became popular for his reality show, ‘Chrisley Knows Best’. It was about him as a Georgia real estate mogul and his family.

Terry later talked about the problems she had to go through when she was married to Todd. According to her, Todd became a control freak after her second pregnancy which constantly got irritated. He even tried to control Teresa’s hairstyle and being constantly corrected by the man you liked was understandably tiring for her.

Terry then filed a lawsuit against Todd for leading a campaign of mental abuse. And it wasn’t just that, he beat Teresa repeatedly. One such occasion stands out where Chrisley continued to beat her with a closed fist after she was undressed. According to some allegations, he threatened to kill Teresa with a knife in his hand. Finally getting enough of him, Teresa filed for divorce in 1994 and the two soon separated.
