Terence Evans
Tall and lanky, he was one of those supporting actors familiar to moviegoers, appearing in numerous titles, in very episodic roles. For example, Terrence Evans played the trucker who was annihilated by the evil T-1000 in “Terminator 2: Judgment Day.” The actor passed away on August 7, 2015, at the age of 81, in Burbank, California.
His manager, Phil Rock, made his death public in a statement: “Terrence was an accomplished actor, passionate about his art and teaching others. In his performances, he conveyed strength and humanity.”
Born in Los Angeles on June 20, 1934, Terrence Horace Evans began his career in 1970, when he was given the role of postmaster in the telefilm The Young Country . He went through various series of enormous pull at that time, such as Little House on the Prairie , The Incredible Hulk or The A-Team , until he accompanied Clint Eastwood in the western The Pale Rider .
He also participated in Terminator 2: Judgment Day , and in the 2003 Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake , where he played old Monty, the uncle of the psychopathic Leatherface. He reprized the character in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Origin , a 2006 prequel. He was a regular in the Star Trek universe , as he played the mute laborer Baltrim, and Prokal Migdal, adoptive father of a Cardassian child, in Deep Space 9 , and later to Ambassador Treen on Voyager . He combined the audiovisual industry with the theater, as he appeared in productions of well-known works such as “The Seagull” by Anton Chekhov, “The Witches of Salem” by Arthur Miller or “La mad de Chaillot” by Jean Giraudoux.
