Tension in Oshogbo as suspected Yahoo Boys protest, attack EFCC
There is tension currently in Oshogbo, capital of Osun State as some suspected internet fraudsters that are popularly known as ‘Yahoo Yahoo boys’ stormed the streets to protest against alleged arrest by the Economic Financial Crime Commission (EFCC).
There is tension currently in Oshogbo, capital of Osun State as some suspected internet fraudsters that are popularly known as ‘Yahoo Yahoo boys’ stormed the streets to protest against alleged arrest by Economic Financial Crime Commission (EFCC).
According to a Twitter user who shared the info online, EFCC operatives had stormed Adetunji Estate and Hallelujah Estate in Osogbo to arrest suspected internet fraudsters on Monday night but youths in the area waylaid them, preventing them from allegedly taking away 20 vehicles belonging to the suspects.
Moreso, the youths and other suspected fraudsters stopped the operatives from getting out of the estates.
It was, however, learnt that the EFCC operatives abandoned the vehicles and ran from the scene.

However, in reacting to the development, different users have stormed the bird app to show their concern.
Osogbo boys are not finding it funny with those EFCC.
EFCC officials are losing their values and respect like that of SARS too.
