Fast-rising Nigerian sensation, Temilade Openiyi popularly known as Tems was seen in a video linking up with the greatest rapper in this generation, Kendrick Lamar, and his Cousin Baby Keem. The link-up appeared to have happened backstage at the 02 Arena in London following Kendrick Lamar’s Baby Keem-assisted headline show.
This linkup had begun to circulate following photo evidence of the Nigerian singer with Kendrick Lamar and videos of herself and Baby Keem in a warm embrace. This has led to many speculations about a possible collaboration between the said artists.
Tems despite just spending a few years in the industry, has worked with some of the biggest names in the world, thanks to her collaboration with the African Star Boy, Wizkid.

Following the international success of Essence, The 27-year-old singer also made collaborated with Drake on Fountain, a track on his 2021 album, Certified lover Boy. The duo worked with Future on “Wait for You”, the lead track on Future recent album “I Never Liked You”
Beyonce also featured her and Grace Jones on MOVE, an essential track on Beyonce’s Rennaissance. Sealing her international status, she featured as a songwriter and backup singer, on Rihanna’s latest single “Lift Me Up” on The Wakanda Forever Soundtrack
Prior to these events, Tems had worked with Davido and Khalid on another version of Know Your Worth, She also worked with Justin Bieber on the remix version of Essence. She had also worked with Brent Faiyaz on one of her biggest hit songs “Found”
