Whoopi Goldberg (1992-1993) – Danson first set eyes on actress Whoopi Goldberg on The Arsenio Hall Show, he reportedly described Whoopi as a sexy and fun woman, and the two became friends afterward. But it was while shooting Made in America in April 1992 that their undeniable chemistry and attraction began to blossom in love. Though they seemed like an unlikely couple, their romance garnered significant media attention and became a regular staple in the tabloids. Suddenly, however, things went south in October 1993 when Ted im. Performed Friars Club Comedy Roastin honor of his girlfriend. His appearance in black type with a monologue that used copious amounts of racial slurs and stereotypes caused much controversy and was considered highly offensive. Though Goldberg defended his sketch, Ted still suffered severe backlash and negative press for his performance. In the end, the incident caused a significant rift between Goldberg and Danson, and they issued official statements on November 5, 1993, announcing their split.
  4. Mary Steenburgen (1994-Present) – The next woman to come into Danson’s life was his co-star from the movie Pontiac Moon Mary Steenburgen. Both experienced personal difficulties during filming in 1993, leaning on each other in the process. The spouses began dating in February 1994 and decided to tie the knot on October 7, 1995. Their Martha’s Vineyard wedding was attended by celebrities including Tom Hanks, Laura Dern, Woody Harrelson, and Bill and Hillary Clinton. Ted became a stepfather to Mary’s children, Lilly and Charlie, by her ex-husband, actor Malcolm McDowell. The couple is still going strong and appear to be connected as ever.

Personal trainer

Ted is one of the few stars in Hollywood to have a successful career. He’s aged well with a surprisingly fit and agile physique thanks to his personal trainer, Flavio, with whom he works out at the gym, according to Gold’s Gym in Los Angeles. Additionally, his love of outdoor activities like hiking and biking has helped him stay in shape.

Although he has tried to adopt a vegan lifestyle many times in the past, Danson found the diet too drastic for his choice. Over time, he found the pesketarian diet (which avoids all meat except fish) combined with a plant-based gluten-free diet to strike the right balance for him. According to Ted, he’s “more of a veg, fruit, and fish guy.”

A breakdown of his daily diet is as follows:

  • Breakfast – He likes to start his working day with egg whites and spinach. On his days off he will eat homemade toast with jam and a cup of black coffee.
  • Lunch – While working on a set, he likes to keep his lunch dishes light, opting for a salad with some fish or potatoes to keep his energy levels up.
  • Dinner – His plate consists of cabbage and yams or other vegetables he has freshly picked from his garden.
