  1. She spent the early years of her childhood in Calgary before moving to the Middle East for three years. After that she returned to Canada and settled down.
  2. Tate’s mother used to own a dance studio. She was also the one who encouraged Tate to choose dance as a career and also taught it.
  3. One of the very first songs she ever wrote was titled Miss Popularity .
  4. When she was 6 years old, her parents enrolled her in ballet lessons. At first she didn’t seem interested, although she enjoyed performing. It was because she couldn’t face what she had to do. Around the same time she had started taking singing lessons and has been writing songs ever since.
