1. When she was 10 years old, she decided to move to the United States and join the famous Nick Bollettieri Academy. It was her mentor, Scott Fu, who had suggested the move and used his links to ensure his student received the best tennis education.
2. She was 16 years old when she started moving again. This time she moved to the UK to start her professional career.
3. She started playing tennis at her mother’s urging. Her mother wanted Tara to be healthy and thought tennis was the best option.
