Tammy Abraham: Roma agrees £34m deal to sign Chelsea striker

The Italian Club, Roma has agreed to a £34m deal to sign Tammy Abraham from Chelsea, Skysport reported. However,  the 23-year-old striker must now decide if he wants to join the Italian club, which is managed by former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.

Although Arsenal is interested in signing England forward, Chelsea prefers to sell Abraham to a foreign team than a Premier League rival; the striker fell out of favour at Stamford Bridge after Thomas Tuchel replaced Frank Lampard.

While the clubs have a history of deals in recent years – including Petr Cech, Willian and David Luiz – they have all been players in the twilight of their careers and who Chelsea have been happy to let go to the Gunners, and not a young proven goalscorer who is still years from hitting his prime.
