Her fame came when she appeared in Bones. She first appeared in the first episode of the second season titled The Titan on the Tracks, playing Dr Camille Saroyan. This was to create more tension and drama between the two main characters, but the response to Tamara Taylor’s character was so strong that the writers had to offer her a position as a recurring regular in the film. This led to her being credited as a main character in the next episode, The Girl with the Curl, and throughout the series.
