She has an American nationality and regarding her ethnicity, she is of mixed ethnicity as her parents were of Italian descent.
Talia is the sister of Francis Ford Coppola , a film director, producer and composer and August Coppola was an author and film executive.

Talia Shire began her acting journey playing the role in the film The Wild Racers, in 1968. She later appeared in The Dunwich Horror and The Christian Licorice Store.
The actress gained massive fame, after her great performance in the hit movie. The Godfather , in 1972 starring Al Pacino , James Caan and Diane Keaton . In 1974, Shire earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her breakout role as Connie Corleone in the crime film. The Godfather II .
In the year 1976, the actress’s career reached a new height after she starred in the sports drama film Rocky sharing the screen with Carl Weathers and Burgess Meredith . The film was the biggest box office success and became the highest grossing film of 1976.
