  • Sarah Martins Cautions Ashmusy Over Egg Freezing Advice

Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has responded to comments by skitmaker Ashmusy on egg freezing, warning that the option does not shield women from infections or other health risks.

    Ashmusy’s stance sparks conversation

Ashmusy had earlier said she chose to freeze her eggs to avoid rushing into marriage due to age pressure, describing it as a way to secure her chances of motherhood in the future.

Her position triggered discussions online, with many weighing in on fertility choices and timing.

    Sarah Martins issues health warning

Reacting, Sarah Martins acknowledged the importance of educating women on egg freezing but stressed that it should not be misunderstood as protection against sexually transmitted infections.

“Dear Ashmusy, thank you for educating women on egg freezing,” she said.

“But please remind them that freezing their eggs… doesn’t prevent them from getting infected with HIV/AIDS and other diseases.”

She urged women to remain cautious and prioritise safe practices, noting that fertility planning does not replace health protection.

    Call for broader awareness

The actress emphasised the need for more balanced conversations around reproductive health, encouraging women to combine family planning decisions with proper awareness of health risks.

“Protect yourself always,” she added, while also commending Ashmusy for raising awareness on the topic.

  • Actress Sarah Martins Declares Support for Seyi Tinubu, Vows to Campaign for Him

Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has publicly declared her support for Seyi Tinubu, stating that she would campaign for him if he decides to contest for any political office in the future.

The actress made the statement in a video shared on her Instagram page on Thursday, April 16, while responding to critics questioning her open admiration for the president’s son.

    Why she is backing him

Martins explained that her loyalty is rooted in a personal experience, revealing that Seyi Tinubu once supported her charity work with a ₦20 million donation.

She said the support came in October 2025 after she raised concerns about an alleged assault by uniformed officials while distributing food to the less privileged.

According to her, the incident involved operatives believed to be from the Kick Against Indiscipline unit, who confronted her during a street outreach.

She added that Tinubu later reached out and offered financial assistance to help sustain her charity initiative.

    “I will campaign for him”

Speaking in the video, Martins said the gesture strengthened her commitment to him, stressing that she is ready to publicly support him if he enters politics.

“If Seyi Tinubu comes out to contest for anything now or later, I will loudly campaign for him,” she said.

She also dismissed criticism over her stance, saying she has no issue being labelled a political tool.

“I accept it with my full chest only for Seyi Tinubu’s government, not his father’s government. I am big on loyalty,” she added.

    Plans to expand charity work

The actress also revealed plans to grow her outreach efforts, noting that she is working towards acquiring a truck to improve logistics for feeding vulnerable communities.

According to her, her current vehicle is too small to accommodate her team and equipment.

The development has sparked mixed reactions online, with many debating her comments and public support for the president’s son.

  • Sarah Martins Denies Blessing CEO’s Cancer Claim, Calls it a Fundraising Stunt

Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has publicly challenged the cancer disclosure made by popular relationship therapist and content creator Blessing Okoro, widely known as Blessing CEO, describing the announcement as a manipulative attempt to generate public sympathy and solicit funds for her partner.

The actress posted her claims on Instagram on Wednesday evening, hours after Blessing CEO’s tearful cancer video had gone viral and attracted widespread concern from Nigerians online.

    What Blessing CEO said

Earlier this week, Blessing CEO published an emotional video in which she broke down in tears, disclosed that she had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, and asked Nigerians to pray for her. The video generated significant sympathy across social media, with thousands of followers sending messages of support and inquiring about how to assist her.

    Sarah Martins’ counter-claims

In her Instagram post, Martins flatly denied the cancer claim, alleging that Blessing CEO resides in the Lakwe area of Lagos and commutes regularly by bus alongside IVD. She also alleged that a Mercedes-Benz recently displayed as a gift was staged for public attention rather than a genuine acquisition. “There’s no money anywhere,” she said.

Martins went further, alleging that both Blessing CEO and IVD are currently experiencing financial difficulties, claiming that assets had been sold to manage their expenses. She described the cancer announcement as a deliberate strategy designed to attract public empathy and donations. “This cancer story is a manipulative stunt to gain sympathy and empathy from Nigerians in order to raise money to start a business for IVD,” she alleged.

    Important editorial note

It is critical to state clearly that Sarah Martins’ claims are unverified allegations. RNN.NG has not independently confirmed or denied Blessing CEO’s medical condition. A cancer diagnosis is a serious and sensitive medical matter, and no third party — including Sarah Martins — is in a position to confirm or disprove it without access to verified medical records.

Blessing CEO has not responded directly to Martins’ allegations as of the time of this report.

The controversy comes amid an already tense public dynamic surrounding Blessing CEO and IVD, with the two having previously been the subject of online scrutiny over their relationship and financial lifestyle. Many Nigerians online are now calling for verified medical evidence before drawing conclusions, while others have sided with Martins’ scepticism.

Blessing CEO is widely known as a relationship commentator with a large social media following, and has previously been at the centre of several public controversies involving Nigerian celebrities.
