They met on the set of the Today show and started dating since January 2014. However, they had to be away from each other at the time as Peter was a journalist based in Europe.
After dating for two years, they finally decided to get engaged in July 2016 while on vacation in Europe.
The couple even co-hosted the so-called Australian breakfast TV show, Weekend Today while Leila McKinnon and Cameron Williams were on leave.
