Nigerian comedian, and content creator, Egere Sydney, popularly known as Sydney Talker ventures into music as he launches his new record label named “Neville Records”
He made the announcement on his Instagram page while unveiling Khaid, the first artiste to be signed into the record label
According to Sydney Talker, the foundation of Neville Records was prompted by the urge to convey his deepest aspirations without limitations, hence his unexpected emergence into the music scene. He added that the label will be the formal framework through which he will express the music in him.
Sydney further stated that beyond seeing his long dream coming true, it is also a cumulative joy seeing the dream of another talent come true, hence his decision to sign Khaid.
Speaking about his new artiste, Sydney wrote; Khaid is a talented young man I sighted free-styling on the street via Instagram. At the time he was a car mechanic working hard to ensuring ends meet. With no aspiration of becoming a Star. Now here we are. What a joy.
I can’t wait to see him affect the world. I can’t wait to see you all enjoy this unique talent and gift. I want to thank you all for standing with me all these years and Remember, I have many unfinished skits to make you laugh. I AM STILL THE TOWEL GUY
In other news, the award-Winning Nigerian singer, Davido took to twitter to drag his cousin, Dele Adeleke, for running for the office of Executive Governor of Osun State against his uncle Ademola Adeleke
The 29-year-old singer took to the social media platform to share a photo of his cousin holding a provisional clearance certificate from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Captioning the photo, the singer claimed Adeleke struggle to graduate with a second class lower and has not “built one thing in his life on his own”.
“Wonderful! Me I finished uni with a 2:1. But it’s now cousin dele who struggled to even get a 2:2 that is now forming “intellectual”. Intellectual that has not succeeded in building one single thing in his life on his own. This life ehn! Osun beware of FAKES!” he wrote.
