‘Sweep Nigeria Clean With APC Brooms,’ Tinubu Tells Supporters In Kano

Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for president, has tasked party members to continue supporting the ruling party. On Saturday, he made the announcement in Kano while speaking to party officials from the North-West zone during the opening of the APC campaign headquarters.
“This party will sing victory. This country will experience progress. This office will be filled with joy come February 2023. We are confident that we don’t have any regret at all,” he told them.
“Don’t allow those who don’t know the way to victory, don’t understand the success of a nation to lie to you about Buhari or anybody. Don’t let them. Throw it back at them. Take your broom firmly and sweep Nigeria clean. God will bless you. We will give you joy.”
On the same day that his fans flooded the streets of Lagos State to show their support for him and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, he made his comment in Kano.
The followers, who appeared to be young people, were seen carrying brooms and other APC memorabilia. They marched through Ikeja, the state capital, from Maryland down Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way to Police College.
The “Eko Youth Walk For Tinubu- Shettima, Sanwo-Olu-Hamzat” demonstration was organized by Seyi, Tinubu’s son.
The Nigeria Police Force (NPF), the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps were all notably present at the event on Saturday (NSCDC).

Initially, The APC presidential candidate, Ahmed Bola Tinubu, want to Kano State to open his campaign offices.
Thousands of supporters greeted Tinubu at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport after the people of Kano, Jigawa, and the Zamfara States gave him a rousing welcome on Saturday.
Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Alhaji Badaru Abubakar, and Alhaji Mohammed Bello Matawalle, the governors of Kano, Jigawa, and the Zamfara States, as well as hundreds of their supporters, welcomed the APC presidential candidate.
According to the visit’s schedule, Tinubu would also meet with the emirs of Gaya, Rano, Bichi, and Karaye and make a courtesy call to the emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero.
In addition to other events, the APC flag bearer will engage in a discussion with followers of the Tijjaniyya sect, the Kadriyya Movement, Ahlus Sunna, CAN leadership, and APC support groups in the state.
