Strike actions will not hold, FG are liars__ ASUU

The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU has promised not to embark on industrial action from Tuesday, a member of the National Executive Committee, NEC, of the union has said.

While speaking with newsmen, the NEC member, who is also the Chairman of the University of Lagos, UNILAG, chapter, Dr Dele Ashiru, on Monday explained that there are steps and processes for the union to embark on strike.

ASUU planning to strike (although not in the interest of the students), Doctors are on strike and security is failing day by day. This makes you want to ask what Buhari has achieved in the last 6 years. Education, Health and Security are major sectors fgs.

He, however, agreed that the union gave the Federal Government up till Tuesday, August 31, to meet some demands.
