Canadian voice actor and motion capture artist, Steven Ogg is known for playing Trevor Philips in the 2013 action-adventure video game, Grand Theft Auto V and as Simon in an American post-apocalyptic horror television series, The Walking. Dead, starring Andrew Lincoln, Jon Bernthal, Sarah Wayne Callies, etc.
Ogg also won the New York Videogame Critics Circle Award for Best Overall Performance in a Game.
Early life and career of Steven Ogg
Steven Ogg was born on November 4, 1973 in Calgary, Canada, under the Scorpio birth sign. He is of Caucasian race/ethnicity and has Canadian nationality.
From a very young age, Ogg wanted to become a famous sportsman, however, due to a serious injury, he was unable to make his dream come true. So, Ogg decided to pursue an acting career.
Ogg joined the National Film Board of Canada and was involved in various stage productions. After that, he moved to New York City to pursue his professional acting career.
Ogg made his first screen debut with the 1999 film, Give It Up as Andre, the fashion photographer. He was cast along with Ali Larter , Callie Thorne , and others. Similarly, the following year, he debuted on the television series Law & Order as Mark Vee.
In 2008, Ogg came up with a voice actor in the video games, Alone in the Dark as Vinnie . Subsequently, he appeared in several video games, Ride to Hell: Retribution, Cursed Mountain, and Grand Theft Auto V.
Ogg won the New York Game Critics Circle award for the GTAV character. Furthermore, he also became the nominee for five awards for his work on GTAV, such as Code Central, Spike Video Game, British Academy Games and a few others.
