Stephen Moyer
The television series Fresh Blood has made Stephen Moyer a celebrity.
English actor Stephen Moyer was born on October 11, 1969, in Brentwood (Essex). Passionate about acting, he achieved some recognition on the stage in Essex, with the company The Reject Society. He later played the lead in “Romeo and Juliet” in Oxford, and starred in the rock opera “Iron Man” in London.
After several television roles, he starred with Katherine Heigl in The Valiant Prince , an adaptation of Hal Foster’s comic book, but the film was not very successful. Although later he did not lack work in numerous series, and in films like Quills and 88 minutes , the truth is that fame resisted him. With the role that would lift him to stardom not come his way, Stephen Moyer grew tired of acting. Father of two children, from two different relationships, he got tired of always being away from them, and decided to dedicate himself to teaching, his second vocation.
When he was about to throw in the towel, his agent sent him the script for Fresh Blood , which he wasn’t interested in at first because he didn’t want to shoot a vampire series. However, he decided to read it when he found out that the creator was none other than Alan Ball , responsible for Six Feet Under .
Thanks to the success of Fresh Blood , Stephen Moyer is getting roles in titles like Master Class , where he plays the lead under veteran actress Faye Dunaway .
Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer have worked together on Open House , a horror film that marks the directorial debut of Andrew Paquin, Anna’s brother.
