Originally from Toronto, Stanley Mann was born on August 8, 1928. A graduate of McGill University, he began as a screenwriter and actor on the CBC radio network. At the end of the 50s he worked as a screenwriter for television series, and little by little he made his way in the big screen industry with titles such as Un coup de grace , a comedy at the service of Peter Sellers .
