Following the ongoing situation in South Africa that caused a massive uproar from the world as a result of the riot that killed over 70, a top Nigerian politician, Femi Fani Kayode has come out to relate how the ongoing event in the country affects the present situation of Nigeria.

You will recall that the riot that displaced the majority of citizens in the country, happened when President Cyril Ramaphosa proceeded to jail the immediate past president of the country, Jacob Zuma.

FFK disclose how many people have been killed recently in the ongoing protest which was organized in favour of Zuma. While deliberating on how the current situation in South Africa affects Nigeria made it known that whenever individuals who are regarded as heroes by their ethnic groups are persecuted or killed it means the persecutor himself is waking up a lion that can’t be controlled or tamed.

Thus setting up a fire that cannot be extinguished. Furthermore, he stressed that we must be fair in our actions towards others and learn how to desist from persecuting innocent people because only when a mad is killed will the public know that he has followers.
