Nigerian skit maker Sophia Chisom popularly known as Soso “The Pure Water Seller” opens up on her choice of career.
In an interview with the BBC Pidgin, the comedian has opened up on how she settled for comedy as a career leaving other things behind.
Like she said, she was a political science and public administration graduate from the University of Port Harcourt.
As a member of the Nigerian National Youth Service Corps, she served under the Ministry of Petroleum. An opportunity came, and she was to be retained but she backed she never wanted that kind of job.
Furthermore, the skit maker explained how some people were dissapointed over her choice of career but she never looked back.
Soso however talked about the constume that she uses for her skits and how she acquired them.
In the interview with BBC Pidgin, Soso The Pure Water Seller advised people to stick to their career even when they are facing some challenges. She urged skit makers to remain consistent even if their effort is not paying off yet.
