Pedro Ebenezer, Director, Anambra State Operational Directorate, asked attendees to always report any suspicious coworkers to the proper authorities for prosecution and fine during his presentation of SON’s programs.
Dr. Festus Ukwueze, the sensitization forum’s resource person, said that the SON Act’s provisions would increase domestic consumer goods if they were properly implemented. His presentation was titled “SON Act as a Pathway to Industrial Growth and Development of Nigeria.”
According to Ukwueze, this would prevent the importation of false, inferior goods and preserve foreign cash that could be used to fund industrial endeavors.
Participants in the question and answer session asked SON to improve the quality of the services it provides to the public.
