Soledad Oppen Cojuangco (born 1940) is a Filipino freelancer and philanthropist from Negros Occidental, Philippines. She worked as an associate in her ancestral business. Her husband named Eduardo Cojuangco Jr. (Politician and Businessman) died on June 16, 2020 in Taguig, Philippines.
Mr. Cojuangco Jr. suffered from heart failure and pneumonia and was admitted to St. Luke’s Medical Center, Global City. However, he was unable to survive during the treatment process and died.
He served as the President and CEO of the largest food company in the Philippines, San Miguel Corporation. He became the biggest businessman in the country as his business empire was worth about 25% of the GDP of his country.
Additionally, he was one of the members of the NPC political party from 1991 to 2020. He served as the Governor of Tarlac.
