Slim Chiboub (in Arabic: سليم شيبوب), by his full name Mohamed Slim Ben Mohamed Hassen Ben Salah Chiboub, was born on January 13, 1959 in Tunis, he is a Tunisian volleyball player and businessman. He chaired the Espérance Sportive de Tunis EST sports club.
Slim began his sports career as a volleyball player at EST.
He is the husband of Zine Elabedine Ben Ali’s daughter.
In 1988, he became the vice-president of EST. From 1993, he changed everything in the club, and won several titles, fifteen in total.
In November 2004, he left the club.
He is the owner of the Al Badr Stud stable.

Little known facts
In June 2009, he became the President of the Tunisian National Olympic Committee and subsequently he fled abroad during the revolution in 2011. He settled in the United Arab Emirates, and he enjoys special protection although he is the subject of a search warrant with Interpol, he was sentenced in absentia in March 2012 to five years in prison for possession of a firearm without a licence.
Chiboub was convicted in Switzerland for a money laundering and corruption case.
In November 2014, he returned to Tunisia and was sentenced to six months in prison He was released in January 2016, but remains at the disposal of justice .
In May, a reconciliation agreement was signed between Chiboub and the State litigation officer under the leadership of the Truth and Dignity Commission.
Slim married Dorsaf Ben Ali, the younger daughter of Zine Elabdeine Ben Ali.
Under his presidency, the EST club won several titles.
