Skye McCole Bartusiak
Actress Skye McCole Bartusiak, who played one of Mel Gibson’s daughters in “The Patriot,” died on July 19, 2014 at her Texas home at the age of 21, her family said. Her parents revealed that she had suffered epileptic seizures that could have played a role in her death.
Born on September 28, 1992, in Houston, Texas, Skye McCole Bartisuak became a child model very early on. She was 7 years old when she made her big screen debut as one of the girls in The Cider House Rules . She made her most notable appearance in The Patriot , where she played the youngest daughter of Mel Gibson .
