Shenae Grimes was born on the 24th of October, 1989 in Toronto, Ontario. She was a student at Forest Hill Collegiate. As part of her high school coursework, she completed an internship at Toronto’s Fashion Television. And for her final two years of high school, Shenae Grimes attended City Academy, a private school.

Early Acting Career
In 2004, Shenae Grimes repeated her role as Darcy Edwards, thereby becoming a lead character in Degrassi: The Next Generation (2006). After being chosen to play Annie Wilson in 90210, the CW’s spin-off of Beverly Hills, 90210, Grimes left the show and Canada in 2008.
