He has an older half-brother, Brandon Blackstock who is married to singer Kelly Clarkson. He also has two older half-sisters; Shawana and Chassidy . His parents divorced in 2015 after twenty-six years of marriage.
He developed a passion for racing during his early days. He later dropped out of Bob Bondurant Racing School to pursue a full-time career in racing.
