• Taylor Phinney (2008) – At the 2008 Olympics, cyclist TaylorPhinney, who had a room above her, threw Snickers Bars at Shawn Johnson since she was banned from eating it by gymnastics authorities. That’s how they got to know each other. After she won the medal and moved to another hotel with her parents, they moved their relationship to the hotel lobby. They used to close the blinds for their make-out sessions.
• Andrew East (2013-Present) – Shawn Johnson met Andrew’s brother Guy East at the 2012 London Games. After retiring from competitive gymnastics, she struggled to find her perfect routine for a couple of years. Since then, however, she has slowly found an exercise program that suits her perfectly.

She goes to the gym about 4 to 5 times a week for 30 minute to 1 hour workouts. Her favorite training modes are boot camps and indoor cycling. She is particularly obsessed with SoulCycle workouts.She has also retained some of the measures from her days of competition to keep her body supple and toned. One such move is V-Up Crunches, which works all of your core muscles in one move.

At the gym, she also emphasizes lower-body workouts and tons of variations on lunges and squats. She considers jump squats to be the most brutal exercise of them all. She also likes long runs and has run a few half marathons.Before training, she drinks a protein smoothie with a portion of fruit. Her post-workout food ranges from peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to grilled chicken. For breakfast, her main course is egg white omelet, toast with strawberry jam, and green tea.
