After failing to maintain his usual high level as a performer at the Sochi Olympics, he decided to hire Tim Hartwig as his personal trainer and, for the first time in his career, decided to get serious about working in the gym.

Tim created a goal-based workout routine that you aim to achieve on specific days. For example, on the strength day they mostly work on the sled. They also do some bodyweight exercises to increase strength.

1. He followed in the footsteps of his older brother, who trained at the legendary YMCA park in San Diego.
2. He signed his sponsorship deal at the age of 7 when Burton Snowboards decided to support the impressive prodigy. He still has a sponsorship deal with them.
3. Shaun is the first snowboarder to complete a “three peat race” in the SuperPipe event at the Winter X Games.
4. Shaun has partnered with clothing giant Target to launch its exclusive line of clothing focused on kids. His older brother helped him design it.
5. In 2015 he acquired Air + Style, a promoter of a series of global events that are a mashup of music festival, design show and snowboard competition.
6. He launched his men’s collection under the title WHT Space. He has also worked with Beats by Dr. Dre collaborated to launch its collection of headphones.
