Shantel VanSanten was born on July 25, 1985 in Luverne, Minnesota. She was, however, raised in the spring, in Texas, by her mother and grandmother Doris. According to her family background, Shantel is of Dutch ethnicity and Norwegian descent. Growing up, Shantel had a passion for the entertainment industry. She also had a penchant for fashion and read magazines from an early age.
