The younger brother of Seriki Hausa of Iyere town, identified as Usman and two others abducted along the Ilesha/Ife expressway have regained freedom.

RNN earlier reported that the trio was abducted by Unknown gunmen who have abducted three people in Osu town, along Ife/Ilesha expressway in Osun State, after which the gunmen contacted the Seriki of Iyere, Haruna Tanko, demanding N50 million as a ransom.

In the recent development, Seriki Tanko disclosed that the three abducted persons have been released by the suspected gunmen.

The Public Relation Officer of Nigeria Police, Osun Command, Yemisi Opalola, was earlier contacted on phone to confirm the incident her phone number was not available.

Meanwhile, The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), has arrested the septuagenarian (70-year-old) Man, Rabiu Wada suspected to be a drug trafficker, supplying substances to the Boko-haram and Bandits.

The suspect confessed during the interrogation that he sold his goods for N300,000 in Lagos and used the fund to buy 10 pallets of skunk at N25,000 each, adding that he was intercepted in Jebba, on his way back to the Niger Republic through the North-West where he sells drugs to bandits.
