Celestial Church Cleric Kunle Hamilton Criticizes BBNaija Winner Imisi, Calls Show a “Swimming Pool of Sin”

Published

on

Media personality and Celestial Church of Christ pastor, Kunle Hamilton of Praiseville Global, has stirred debate after condemning Big Brother Naija Season 10 and its winner, Imisi, describing the reality show as morally questionable.

Imisi’s victory had generated mixed reactions, especially after videos surfaced showing Celestial Church members celebrating and campaigning for her during the show.

In a separate video now trending online, Hamilton called the show a “swimming pool of sin”, arguing that it promotes imitation and indulgence rather than positive values. He said that while he wouldn’t condemn Imisi personally, he could not publicly celebrate her win.

“If I had her number, I would call to congratulate her privately, but I won’t do so publicly,” he stated.

Hamilton added that Imisi could still thrive in her career if she upholds her Christian principles.

The cleric also criticized fellow pastors and church leaders who publicly congratulated the reality star, insisting that endorsing Big Brother Naija sends the wrong message to young people.

“No one should publicly celebrate participants of such a show. It encourages our youth to chase fame by any means,” he warned.

Imisi, who won the ₦120 million grand prize, became the Season 10 winner of Big Brother Naija, a development that drew both excitement and controversy within religious and online communities.
