Scoot Adkins was born on June 17, 1976 in Sutton Coldfield, England. He is the son of Janet Adkins and John Adkins . He was interested in martial arts from the tender age of 10. After visiting the local judo club with his brother, Craig Adkins and his father, his interest in martial arts grew.
Adkins began practicing art from the age of 14. At 19, he already received a black belt and also trained in kickboxing. He was a kickboxing instructor for the Professional Karate Association. He is of British nationality and ethnicity, he is of Spanish descent.
