Savannah Guthrie was born on December 27, 1971 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, which makes her nationality Australian-born. Guthrie’s father was stationed in Australia, which is why they lived there. However, her father was transferred and she returned to the United States, to Arizona. Likewise, Savannah went to Amphitheater High School in Tucson. After graduating from high school, she earned a degree in journalism from the University of Arizona. Eventually, she also received a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University.
