1. When she was 16, her mother got her in the face and shape of the People on Sunday competition in 1983. She managed to finish 2nd in the competition.
2. During the photo shoot, conducted by competitions, as a finalist, the photographer asked her to pose topless for a few pictures, which he promised would not be published and only shown to the editors.
3. Despite this, her topless pics made the front page of the Sunday People. Her principal wasn’t impressed, but she landed a 3-year contract with Sun’s Page 3 .
4. A hip problem forced her to wear calipers and a platform boot in elementary school, making her an easy target for the bullies.
5. In October 2015, it was reported that she was thrown off a flight during a concert tour to Lithuania. Apparently she was too drunk and had indulged in unruly behavior.
6. In December 2017, she revealed that David Cassidy groped and sexually assaulted her in 1985. She had to kneel in his crotch to get away. She was only 19 at the time.
