Sam released his debut single Playing God on 31 March 2017. It ranked at #95 in the UK Singles Chart and #51 on the Scottish Singles Chart . He then released several other tracks such as Millenial (2017), Start Again (2017), Friday Fight (2018) and Go Fast (2018).

He released his debut EP titled Tote Jungs on November 20, 2018. It consisted of a total of 6 tracks like Würzen , Tote Jungs , and Diese Klang which earned him the Radio X Best Songs of 2018 award.

1. He was born and raised in North Sheilds, England into a musically inclined family.
2. His father Alan played in club and wedding rings, his brother Liam sings and writes songs and is a master of drums and piano.
3. Sam grew up listening to songs by Aretha Franklin, Joni Mitchell and David Bowie.
4. The first instrument he picked up to play was a recorder. At that time he was in elementary school.
5. He picked up the guitar when he was only 8 years old and by the age of 13 he had developed a deep passion for the instrument.
6. Sam started performing live when he was 13 years old. At that time he was performing in his brother’s night hours. Some of the songs he would play were by legendary singer-songwriter Jimi Hendrix. By the time he was 18, he was charging £150 for every gig he made in restaurants.
7. The first time he got drunk was at a party at his father’s circle of friends. He took a mix of alcoholic beverages and had a gala time at his friend’s until he became intolerant to alcohol and passed out. After that, Sam made the mess in the room.
