Rym Ben Messaoud (Arabic: ريم بن مسعود) was born on September 8, 1988, is a Tunisian actress and television host. She holds a master’s degree from the Higher Institute of Fine Arts in Tunisia. She made her debut in 2005, she started her career as a host on Al Jazeera Children’s Channel, then she became a columnist on Nessma TV . She is famous for her role as a policewoman alongside Lotfi Abdelli in the hit series Bolice . Rym Ben Messaoud won the best actress award for her role in Awled Moufida by Sami Fehri and the Ramadan star award at the Romdhane Awards, awarded by Mosaic FM .

Plastic artist by training, Rym Ben Messaoud graduated from the Higher Institute of Fine Arts in Tunis. Rym Ben Messaoud started in the audiovisual field as an assistant decorator at Hannibal TV then worked at Nessma as casting manager from 2007 to 2011.

Rym Ben Messaoud made her first appearance in front of the camera in 2005, as a host on the Al Jazeera Children channel , then she became a columnist at Nessma and produced one of her daily shows, Nessmet Carthage , which aired in the summer 2014.

She made her debut as an actress in the soap opera Maktoub, then interpreted in 2014 her first secondary role in the cinema in Tunisian Spring by Raja Amari. In 2015, she played the role of policewoman Hayfa alongside Lotfi Abdelli and Kamel Touati in the hit series Bolice . Rym Ben Messaoud plays his first leading role in the cinema in the film Hedi, a wind of freedom by Mohamed Ben Attia, selected in official competition at the Berlinale 2016.
