He was born in 1986 in the Albacete town of Letur, where he grew up with his parents in a family that had to face a real test. His parents’ love was almost a forbidden love, because his father worked as a priest until the moment he fell in love with his wife and decided to change his life completely.

ROZALEN’S REAL NAME

Although everyone knows them by their stage name, the truth is that the woman from La Mancha decided to use her father’s surname and leave her real name only for those closest to her: María de los Ángeles Rozalén.

Despite the fact that she is known for her profession as a singer, the truth is that at first she studied psychology at the University of Murcia and has a master’s degree in Music Therapy, which she used to perform music therapy with Parkinson’s patients and people at risk of exclusion.

At the same time, he continued with his musical career. After starting to write her first songs at the age of 14, it was in 2012 that she began to enjoy success. Since then , she has managed to make a name for herself on the music scene with lyrics full of messages at a time when urban music is completely dominant and hardly allows other types of artists to reach the general public.

HIS COUPLE

Rozalén’s private life is a great mystery, as she tries to keep the press as little as possible about what she does offstage. That’s why La Mancha rarely shares a moment with her boyfriend, although she has broken this rule on occasion, luckily so that we can get to know a part of her life.

Daniel Ayllón is the boy who has occupied her heart for years and with him she forms a most discreet couple and far from starring in covers and scandals. He is a journalist and holds the position of Head of Communication at the Ministry of Consumption. With him he has found the stability that he did not find with his previous partner, of whom he came to confess that he exercised psychological and physical abuse. Luckily he got out of that complicated relationship and left that time behind.

Daniel and Rozalén live in the town of Valdemorillo, located 40 kilometers from Madrid, where they live away from the hustle and bustle of the big city and can lead a quiet life in the countryside.

HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH JOSÉ BONO

When his father left the church, he became a great friend of the socialist politician José Bono, so much so that since then he became one of his advisers, both in the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and in the Ministry of Defense and in the Congress of the Deputies.

When Rozalén came into the world, the politician became his godfather, but he had a huge impact on his life, since he was the person who gave him his first guitar, which made him a singer.
