EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND OF ROD PARSLEY

He worked in real estate and at a pet food factory after graduating from high school. He enrolled in Circleville Bible College, but after two years dropped out.

MINISTRY ROD PARSLEY

After conducting a Bible study in his parents’ backyard while still a student, Rod founded his church in 1977. The first meeting was attended by 17 people. Soon they decided to turn the Bible study group into a church. It was originally called the Sunset Chapel, and later the word for the Church of Life.

The church’s first permanent building was constructed in 1979. It is now called Alpha Hall, one of four buildings on what was the campus of Valor Christian College for many years. Growth soon necessitated the addition of this building, and several years later the church built a larger structure adjacent to Alpha Hall, now known as Dominion Hall.

The land was broken up on 57 acres in 1986 to start what is now the main campus of Canal Winchester Church. It was renamed World Harvest Church when it was dedicated in honor of Lester Sumrall, who had befriended Parsley years before and became the youngest pastor’s mentor.

World Harvest Church Columbus now includes a 5,200-seat sanctuary, children and youth ministries, outreach centers and administrative offices. Harvest Preparatory School, a private Christian school serving students from preschool through 12th grade, and Valor Christian College also operate on the church grounds. About 10,000 people attend weekly World Harvest services.

World Harvest added the Elkhart satellite campus in 2013. This church is located near the Christian Center’s South Bend Church, the church founded by Parsley’s mentor, Sumrall.

ROD PARSLEY QUOTES

Realizing that they can’t push their agenda: against religious freedom, against a culture of life, they can’t push these issues through the legislature, because the people are reacting and their elected representatives are representing them, so they’re trying to do so through the courts.

No secular state ever existed and none would exist until the end of the French Revolution, and so we understand that America was built on the Judeo-Christian ethic and we believe that this candidate will ensure that that these truths are respected.

It was the courts, of course, that took prayer from our schools, that took Bible reading from our schools. It was the courts that gave us same-sex marriage. So it’s quite a battlefield, and the Supreme Court is the highest court in the land.

You know, there are only about ten people in the United States who have already argued 25 cases before the Supreme Court, this man has won 25 cases before the Supreme Court. It’s an overwhelming choice.

This is a man who graduated summa cum laude from Harvard University in three years, editor of the Harvard Law Review, argued 39 cases before the Supreme Court. stem parsley

He chose from an overwhelming pool of applicants. This candidate was appointed to the Supreme Court due to his extremely overwhelming qualifications.

We know that this man has proven himself as a “strict constructionist”. Our president told us he would interpret the Constitution rather than craft new laws from the bench.
