Roberto Evans (June 29, 1930 – October 26, 2019) was an American film producer and studio executive from New York City, New York, USA. Initially, he started an Evan-Picone women’s clothing business with Charles Evans (brother) in 1956.
They sold their company to Revlon in 1962. Robert headed the Paramount Pictures production company in 1967. Also, the best works on his side are The Godfather, China Town, Rosemary’s Baby, and Love Story.
He also invested money in film production. In 1980, a big problem came into his life. Evans charged in cocaine tracing case. In addition to this, his two films The Cotton Club and The Two Jake failed commercially.
His last hit movie was How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003). Still, he was found dead in his Beverly Hills home on October 26, 2019. In the past, he has suffered from critical strokes and paralysis.
