Rob Garrison
When Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Maccio) was confronting young bully Johnny at the end of “The Karate Kid,” one of his rival’s teammates yelled, “Put him in a body bag.” It was his partner from the Cobra Kai dojo, Tommy, played by Rob Garrison. The actor died on September 27, 2019, at the age of 59, after a month hospitalized for liver problems at a Pennsylvania hospital. “He was a fun lover, he liked people and he enjoyed life. Born on January 23, 1960, in Wheeling, West Virginia, Robert Scott Garrison made his acting debut at age 17, with a brief role in Star Trek, a science fiction film with Robert Vaughn .
