Rick Aiello

He appeared in titles such as “Do the right thing”, along with his father, the illustrious secondary Danny Aiello. Rick Aiello passed away on July 26, 2021, at age 65 from pancreatic cancer, at a hospital in Warwick, New Jersey. He had not yet completed two years of the death of his parent, on December 12, 2019.

Born in 1958, in Los Angeles, Rick Aiello was the son of the aforementioned  Danny Aiello and Sandy Cohen. At the age of 26 he tried his luck as an actor, debuting with a small role in Bloody Madness , a B-series horror film. Since he didn’t have much luck when it came to being assigned roles, his father gave him a cable, and he appeared with him in Do the Right Thing , where he briefly appeared as an inspector. The director of the tape, Spike Lee , was very convinced with his work, so he recruited him again for other police officers, in Clockers and Wild Fever .

It also gave him a role as lawman David Lynch , in Twin Peaks: Fire Walks With Me . Rick Aiello  shared the screen with his father again in The Closer, 29th Street, Brooklyn Lobster and Road to Success . He was also a crime family killer on The Sopranos , an angry driver on Sex and the City. The film  and insolent customer in a local in A very doubtful blonde . 

His brother, Danny III, a stuntman who, among other things, replaced his father in some sequences of Do what you must , also died prematurely, from pancreatic cancer, in 2010, when he was 53 years old.

Rick Aiello is survived by his wife, Arlene Anne Urichich, and their two children.
