- He got his first big break with the success of his single, Kind of Way, which managed to reach the 50 th position on the US Billboard Hot 100.
- In 2013, Kind of Way was adopted by the Michigan State Spartans 2013 football team as their anthem. Quan wore her green jersey to perform at the 100th Rose Bowl.
- In 2014, the prestigious XXL magazine included him in the Freshman Class category, which recognizes the most promising rappers.
- In May 2014, he suffered two seizures and broke his head after falling while filming a video for his single. Run through. He later clarified that he had just fainted.
