Early life and education of Rich Homie Quan
Rich Homie Quan was born on October 4, 1989 , in Atlanta, Georgia. Homie was quite interested in poetry since his school life. He was also interested in reading, while literature is his favorite subject.
Rapping was not his first career, at first Homie wanted to become a baseball player. Homie played baseball for four years, where he attended his high school, Ronald McNair Sr. High School.
Homie had many aspirations to play professionally since his high school, as a center fielder and leadoff hitter.
Additionally, Rich Homie Quan began playing at the college level during his freshman year and also earned a scholarship offer from Fort Valley State University.
However, Quan decided to focus on rap and started his new career. Later, Quan got a job near the airport, when he lost his job, Rich Homie Quan got involved in illegal activities which included robbery, robbery which landed him 15 months in prison for robbery.

Quan’s song peaked at number 50 on the US Billboard Hot 100. Quan’s album Still Going In would be named the 10th best mixtape of 2013 by Rolling Stones.
Quan was also featured on YG’s song ‘My Nigga’ where Young Jeezy was also featured at #19 on the Hot 100. He even featured on a Ghetto song by Agosto alsina and made a guest appearance on the album EP alongside Chris Brown, Lloyd and Trinity James by Jacquees .
Also, Homie appeared in ‘2 Chainz’ second studio album called B.OATS II: Me Time, in the song ‘Extra’ . Quan completed 30% of his debut album in 2013. Quan was inducted into the XXL freshman class of 2014.
Later on May 6, 2014, Rich Homie Quan went home to Atlanta to shoot the video for his single ‘Walk Thru’ with Los Angeles rapper Problem. Later it was that he had two ‘seizures’ falling and ‘splitting his head off’ on set.
